Serving Dulwich · SE21 & SE22
Three minutes on the train.
North Dulwich to Tulse Hill is one stop, and the train doesn't stop in between — it's about three minutes, then a two-minute walk to Norwood Road. For most of Dulwich, getting to me is quicker than parking at a gym closer to home.
- Done before the house wakes up. The first slot is 5am, so training doesn't have to compete with the school run or the commute.
- A coach, not a class. Every session is one-to-one. Nobody is shouting over music at a room of twelve people.
- Seven days, including weekends. Useful when the week rearranges itself, which it does.
Getting here from Dulwich
- By train — North Dulwich to Tulse Hill is a single stop, roughly three minutes, then about two minutes on foot to the gym.
- From East Dulwich — the same line, one stop further out, still a short journey into Tulse Hill.
- From West Dulwich and the Village — a quick bus, or ride it; the Village is a couple of miles out.
- By bike — ten to fifteen minutes from most of Dulwich, and usually the quickest option door to door once you factor in parking.
- By car — ten to fifteen minutes outside the rush. Easiest for the early slots, before Norwood Road gets going, which is exactly when the first sessions run.
Why come this way at all
Dulwich is not short of places to exercise. What's harder to find is someone who writes you a plan, watches you execute it, and changes it when the evidence says to. That's the whole job here — not access to equipment, which you can get anywhere.
The thing that decides whether this works isn't the hour in the gym. It's whether the programme suits your week, whether the nutrition advice survives contact with your actual life, and whether anyone notices when you quietly stop turning up. Those are the parts I handle.
What working with me involves
One coach, start to finish. I write the programme, progress it deliberately, and rewrite it as you get stronger — you always know what next week looks like because it's already written. Between sessions you get nutrition guidance built around the food you already eat, and me on the end of a message. That last part is what comes up most in my clients' reviews.
I've trained since 2014 and compete in natural bodybuilding, self-coached to my first stage in 2024. It matters for one reason: I don't guess. There's the longer version on the about page.
Who this suits
Mostly people who are busy, reasonably sensible about their health, and quietly frustrated that years of on-and-off gym membership haven't added up to much. If you've never trained properly at all, that's genuinely common here — the beginners page explains what the first month looks like.
If the only hour you can defend is before work, you're in the majority: see early morning training. Closer to the other side of Tulse Hill? There's Herne Hill, West Norwood and Streatham too.
