Serving Brixton · SW2 & SW9

The 415 ends where you'd train.

It runs from Brixton and terminates at Tulse Hill station, which is about two minutes from the gym on Norwood Road. The 432 covers the same ground. By bike or car it's ten to fifteen minutes. No zone-hopping, no changes, no reason for the journey to become the excuse.

  • Train before the day starts. Sessions from 5am, which beats trying to find the motivation after work.
  • Quiet floor, no queues. I coach 5am–5pm, so you're not waiting behind the after-work rush for a rack.
  • One coach, start to finish. Not a rota of trainers, and not a class with your name on it.

Getting here from Brixton

  • By bus — the 415 runs from Brixton and terminates at Tulse Hill station, a couple of minutes from the door. The 432 also runs between Brixton and Tulse Hill.
  • By bike — ten to fifteen minutes down through Brixton Hill, and usually the quickest option door to door.
  • By car — ten to fifteen minutes depending on traffic, and easiest for the early slots before Norwood Road gets going.
  • By train — there's no direct Brixton to Tulse Hill service worth changing for. The bus and the bike both beat it.

Why bother leaving Brixton

You won't struggle to find a gym in SW2. What's harder to find is someone who decides what you should be doing in one, watches you do it, and changes the plan when the evidence says to.

That's the actual product. The equipment is ordinary — squat racks are squat racks. What you're paying for is that every session has a reason, next week is already written, and someone notices if you quietly stop turning up.

What working with me involves

I write your programme and progress it deliberately, rewriting it as you get stronger rather than running the same session until you're bored of it. Alongside that you get nutrition guidance that fits how you actually eat, and me reachable between sessions — the part that comes up most in the reviews.

I've trained since 2014 and compete in natural bodybuilding, self-coached to my first stage in 2024. The point isn't the trophy, it's that I've tested what I prescribe. Longer version on the about page.

Who this suits

People who've held a gym membership for years without much to show for it, and people who have never really started. If it's the second, you're in the majority here — the beginners page sets out what the first month actually looks like, and no, you don't need to get in shape first.

If before work is your only realistic window, that's the busiest part of my week: early morning training. Closer to the other side of Tulse Hill, there's Herne Hill, Dulwich, West Norwood and Streatham.
